ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: others may be assigned.
· Manages the finance function and overseeing the accounting team of one.
· Performs budgeting, audits, tax, accounting, and administrative functions for the organization.
· Responsible for the maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
· Prepares monthly consolidated Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheets for international parent company.
· Provides timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.
· Provides financial analysis reports, as needed.
· Responsible for cash management and performs treasury-related duties.
· Ensures appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
· Prepares documents as required by CPA.
· Manages and analyses the physical inventory processes and reports.
· Consults with Human Resources on benefits, 401(k), other benefit matters, etc.
· Works closely with Production, Sales and Purchasing related to inventory and pricing.
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manages one direct report according to company employment policies, procedures and programs.
· Monitors staff performance, including performance reviews, career planning, discipline, etc., as well as delegates work duties and responsibilities.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
· Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
· Complies with all Fuji Foods, Inc. employment policies, procedures/processes and programs. Performs duties in compliance with quality and GMP as well as safety policies, procedures/processes and programs.
· Contributes to the company’s goals of total quality and cost improvement.
· Demonstrates a positive attitude towards the company, Management, other Associates and clients/customers. Participates in assigned activities, assignments and projects to further elevate the company’s vision, values and team spirit.
· Assists and supports others in the achievement of Fuji Foods, Inc. and department’s goals.
Position Requirements:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Three or more years of experience in the accounting field; US GAAP knowledge, 2 years leadership experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret federal business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
Possess the ability to multitask and work collaboratively as well as independently
Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to calculate numbers for all bookkeeping, budgets, statistical analysis and probability statements.
Preferred: ERP system (Enterprise 21) experience.
Expert experience level operating computer and office equipment including an excellent working knowledge Excel and Microsoft Office products.
